10/13/07 - Keasha's Birthday Party!

As you can tell by the title, it was Keasha's birthday party. But before the party, the Cornerstone basketball ministry had scheduled a scrimmage against the East Bay Cardinals. It has been an eternity since the last time we've played in a gym so, just dribbling the ball in there felt remarkable. There were only five people on our team, which is just enough to play. So we had no people on the bench, consequently, we got tired. I wanted to get some blog worthy clips of the game but all five of us played the whole game. Except when some of us cramped up (all of us), Donald came in for a couple minutes. As for the other team, they had about 9 or 10 people but, I think we did pretty well, it is a major improvement from the last time we played another organized team. The mvp of the day was probably the newest member of the team, Tony Kum Lum. Even though he didn't score the most, it was the way he scored. Domination! I sat on the bench after getting kicked in the unauthorized area and all I got from the game was this:After that, I picked up Ryan, Jimmy, and Ken, in that order, to get a present for Keasha. We decided on a pink/gray/white Harajuku Lovers handbag and it costs around 75 dollars tax included. Then we got it professionally wrapped. The party was very enjoyable. There was an inflatable jumping room thing, good food, and a big TV. Hmmm... reminds me of Derek's birthday, except Derek's inflatable jumping room kept falling. Keasha's was very sturdy and upright. But it had some questionable prints of Winnie the Pooh characters all around it. Speaking of questionable:

Extras:
The birthday girl and Pauline checking out some pics, but what is that fool doing there
John coming out victorious from the two on one battle in the inflatable jumpy match
Line of the Day: "I saved my face"
Malcolm should have a late birthday party...

10/12/07 - Rainy Day

It was a rainy day today... but it ended at around 5. So then, I went to pick up Ken, Ander, Matt, and Ryan at Ken's house to get to Ryan's house to play some Halo 3. And so we are on our way and we see these kids literally jumping in front of cars and promoting some profane hand gestures at the driver and their passengers. Good thing they were on the other side of the street. So my car load decides to give them a piece of our mind and so as I stop at the stop sign, they yell insults and return the hand gestures to them. After that, Ken remembers that he forgot the swiss roll, so we had to go all the way back to Ken's house and we had to past those kids again. This time we are on their side of the street, but we were planning on not doing anything anyways because I'm sure the respect was established the first time so... on to the swiss roll. We get it and we have to go back to pass those kids, so we were planning to do something but they left. So at Ryan's house more people came. Derek Paw, the other Ryan, Jon, Jessica, and David came over and Ryan's house was full. Half of us played Halo downstairs and the rest watched 40 Year Old Virgin (hysterical) upstairs. At around 7, I left for Friday KC and I was late. I had to do lesson, so I prepared a story book of Jonah. If you are unfamiliar with Jonah, get a Bible and read the book of Jonah and the rest of it. But for the kids, I had this: tied it together with Jedi lacesWe also filmed a little bit for the Halloween Special coming up, but they are short clips. So look out for the final cut next week. O Yea, we touched up on our hula hooping skills.
Yeah! Go Leonard!

On a serious note, I found out my uncle was in a big accident and he is in the hospital right now. From what I heard, it is pretty bad, but he is showing signs of awareness after waking up and that is good to hear. So if you can, please pray for him and his family.

Senior Paint Out!!! 10/11/07

With all the hype building up to this one day, Senior Paint Out has a lot on its shoulders. Today being the first day to start at 8 o'clock again, I was exhausted and I even thought of not going. But I sucked it up and I went to get covered in paint. Paint Out starts at 4, which gives just enough time for Jimmy to come over to my house after school so I could change (not like I need him there or anything to change) into my painting clothes, then we were going to drive back to school. But then Ryan and Matt needed a ride so.... I picked them up too. I'm such a nice guy. But I got to Ryan's house before he did, he called me when he was walking. So I waited for him and it turns out that he was cooking at 3:55. So then me and Jimmy went in to eat some pot stickers. Yummy. But now we're late, so we call Lawrence and he tells us that it has started! Ugh... Well, anyways we get there about 15 minutes late and the new Vice Principle was about to not let us in, but I was like "O Heck No!" So she let us in, but I guess paint runs out fast or we were insufficient or something because all the paint was gone when we finally hit the field. So we barely got covered, is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Before:
After: + the carload
New hairstyle I'm considering, thanks to Pauline:It was pretty fun. There was a big mosh pit thing. Too bad Malcolm (the birthday boy) and Franny (Who has a fever) couldn't go... After that, I took a shower of course, I still have speckles of paint on my arm, it will go away eventually right?
So on that note, have a very happy birthday Malcolm and get well Frances.

No doubt senior paint out was the highlight of the day but some honorable mentions:
My horrible reversing with my mom's overly sensitive gas pedal
Jimmy's excessive use of perv
Seeing the astounding quality of my camera phone
Watching more Clueless in psychology class

10/10/07 - Conventional

School started at 10 AM again, but for some reason, my mother awoke me from my slumber at 8:00. Whaaaaaaaat. I couldn't go back to sleep so I played Halo 2 campaign style in hopes that I will get better at Halo 3 and stop getting killed so many times and killing so little times. So I went to school wearing this:That's right, a G-Shock I got in middle school. This is the official badge for cool. With six modes! All it is missing is a little laser. This fashion statement is just simply awe-inspiring. So now, I'm dedicated to wearing it everyday wherever I go.
So today for psychology, we started a new movie. One of my favorites, I have to say. Clueless
Right on Mr. Arzaga.

Today

So today, school started at 10 AM so I got to sleep in. After school, I went to watch the volleyball game between the valiant Westmoor Rams volleyball team and the nefarious Cappuccino whatever volleyball team. I didn't watch the whole game cause it was so long, but a reliable source (Ryan Law) told me that Westmoor won by one point in overtime. Yay. Here is an awkward picture of me, and my excuse... I took the picture.
I just discovered another cookie from Pepperidge Farm that I now love so unconditionally
