Close your eyes and imagine...

Hmmm... today was kind of an up and down day. I will explain the ups and downs:

1. Down: School sucked and was super boring

2. Up: Good weather after school and we went to play ball at the court we are undefeated at. And still are

3. Down: Got home and found out that my pinky toe nail on my left foot just broke. It is still clinging on the the skin, I put a band aid around it, I hope that is ok. I knew I felt something in my foot during basketball, I just thought it was like a hang nail or something. Right now, it's like a loose tooth or something. Well, found this on Youtube, I guess people pull off their toe nails on purpose, so it's normal right? WARNING: It is really nasty and grossed me out

I'm just hoping it comes off in my sleep when I roll around and stuff so I don't feel the pain.

4. Up: Opened the package I got in the mail. It was my new jacket I got from the Hundreds online because they had a Memorial Day Sale. So I have a new jacket to add to my daily rotation of my Northface Denali, black Old Navy Hoodie, and Gap sweatshirt that I wear every week. They added some awesome stickers in my package!

5. Down: Damn it Spurs! y'all weak. Lakers all the way I guess...
How could they lose such a lead!?

6. Up: 2 hour episode of Lost!Crazy episode

Gold... or Bronze

Memorial Day = No School
What should I do:
1. Turn my Ipod Touch into a phone

2. Play GTA
3. Memorial Day Sales
4. Update the blog, which I claimed was one of my treasures today in Sunday school

Stacy's Mom

Saw Indiana Jones today. The kingdom of the crystal skull that is. The ending was kinda unexpected. We had tickets to the 7:55 show but it was too crowded so we exchanged them for the 8:55 tickets. It was cool I guess. Leaving the theater after the movie was over, I overheard a lot of haters. Then we took pictures with The Hulk, HSM 3 cast, the Zohan dude, and the Kung Fu Panda figures that were used to advertise.

I Want Those

So You Think You Can Dance is back. That's right, more dancers, the golden inferno strikes again, and mary murphy is as annoying as ever. ABDC is also coming back, I don't know when though. Watching Grey's Anatomy right now and not knowing what is going on. 2 hour episode of Lost next Thursday! going to be the Best Day Ever.

Man... no Ray Fongs in size 12!? C'mon Huf, step up on your sizes. y'all weak. I remember those weak shirts you guys sent me for my twenty bucks. jk, I still like you guys. But I'm still angry they gots no sz. 12 or 11.5 Ray Fongs!

I love Little Lucca's. And Jimmy can't lie.

I just started listening to this artist called Santogold. I might be a little/a lot late discovering her but she's pretty good. Kinda reminds me of M.I.A. Weird album cover.

Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler Filler POST

O yea, the question of the blog... well, Chris didn't really answer the question completely. The first answer he submitted is a big IDK and that is wrong. So really, I can't come up with another question until the other one is answered by somebody. Or when I realize that nobody reads my blog. So go back to the last post and read the question if you didn't do so already.

Just heard the version of My Boo that I had. It would seem just like there is nothing wrong with the song, to the unaware ear. I was just sitting at my desk not doing anything but listening to my Ipod on shuffle and the song came up and I hear a creepy whisper that I'm pretty sure is not part of the song. Help me out. I don't even know what he whispers, but it was freakin scary.

Donate

It's been almost a week since I've made a new post. Probably lost major readers... but I'm starting the consistent posting again.

First off, American Idol! I thought Archuleta would win but Cook took the title as the American Idol. As he should. I would much rather say "Hey, I'm going out to buy the new David Cook album" as opposed to "Hey, I'm gonna sooooo buy the David Archuleta album, he's sooooo cute!". It's just basically a little less girly.

I missed half of American Idol because I was watching the stupid Western Conference final game. My dumb Spurs lost when they should have won. I didn't even get to see the ending of the game because I was distracted by my Ipod (I will explain later in the post). I just looked up and saw the score and got pissed. Then realized it was like 9:30 and I am missing American Idol.

Up next on the post is my latest project. Jail breaking my Ipod. I went all Michael Scofield yesterday looking up tutorials on Youtube and downloading ZIphone and all that. I even had to restore my Ipod = lost all songs and stuff. Just spent the rest of the night filling it up with whatever songs were at hand. But today was when I really explored a small fraction of all the apps that I are available to me. Here are a couple:
Solitaire, too easyThis is actually the first time I beat it
MxTube, I can directly download videos straight from Youtube to my Ipod library
Forever - Chris Brown, it's in my Ipod now!

TTR, like DDR or GH Beautiful Soul would seem like an easy song to play...
TuneWiki, I can listen to songs with lyrics, see what people in my community are listening to and more!
Touch My Body is next on my Mariah Carey playlist
ZIPcodes, I can look up cities in almost 20 countries including the United States of course
I can look up everything I need to know about Volcano, CA
Music Quiz, my favorite game on the Classic Ipods
I like it better than parachute
I just got this new App called Band and I can play instruments. Don't have a picture though, maybe tomorrow. But really, I've only looked at a couple Apps. There are literally hundreds, maybe thousands of applications out there.

What else, went to Mr. Pickles today because Luca's was closed... Mr. Pickles is ok but not comparable. Sorry Mr. Pickles, your Dutch Crunch is not as Dutchy or Crunchy than Little Luca's.

Sigh, I know these questions are not really drawing in readers, but props to Courtney for answering the last question correctly. Thanks for making me feel good about my poor, exciteless blog. Here is your coveted Schrute Buck.
Maybe I should give more valuable prizes. Hmm... maybe if I receive donations. Great Idea! Then maybe I can get real prizes. Send Paypal to vince.the.ei@gmail.com. I'll take any amount except negatives.

Well, here is the question of the blog: Who are all the artists to all the songs that are choices in the Music Quiz picture? I want all 5.

Silence the Violence

My new picture on my header just exemplifies my amateurish skills on Adobe Photoshop. I can only do some of the basics.
Ok, props to Christopher for answering the question correctly. The answer is Starbucks sleeves. So Christopher, you are awarded one Schrute buck.
999 more and it is equivalent to one real dollar! So keep tally on how much you gots. Or you can print them out. No photocopies, I can tell the difference. SO BEWARE!

Back to this freakishly hot day. I ain't about to plant my Haagen Dazs seeds in this heatwave. I'll just have to wait for a more suitable day for planting. The sunset isn't nearly as awe inspiring as yesterday evening's. So no scenery for me. Except the ones we have to do for our Film Lit story board project.

Went to school and Ryan got his first ticket. I am making it known to the entire world wide web that Ryan got a ticket for speeding. Kinda mean, but whatever. He doesn't read this anyways. And he let me take a picture of it. Yea, the car color probably says "gray" but appears to be "gay". It adds a bunch of more funny if it says gay. Speaking of gay, y'all can get married now! Congratulations and go and be joined til death.

After school, Ryan the aggressive driver and I headed over to McDonald's for their buy a medium drink and get a free chicken sandwich. It is basically lower bun, chicken breast, five pickles, upper bun. It's all good though.

Question of the day: Here is a sketch I drew on my Munny toy. It shows what I am going to turn it into. By looking at the faint pencil marks, what is it going to turn into?HINT: it needs a red cape

Current temperature in my room with the door and windows open: 76 degrees
Fahrenheit that is, to all my readers in Japan, Spain, Philippines, and Canada.

a&w

Did you guys see the sunset yesterday? If not, I got pictures:It looks so much better in real life than in my novice level photography. After watching American Idol send their final three contestants back to their hometowns, I found out that May 9 is no longer just my birthday. It is now also:
1. David Archuleta day in Murray, Utah
2. Syesha Mercado day in Sarasota, Florida
and
3. David Cook day in Blue Springs, Missouri

Battle of the Davids!
Post of today later. It is freakin hot!!!

Yes I Did

Hmmm... free ice cream at Haagen-Dazs today?! Here is the pack of seeds I got with my free scoop! Well, supposedly, honey bees are dying and so Haagen-Dazs bribed me with their delicious vanilla ice cream to plant these seeds and attract more honey bees to my yard. I'll try it I guess, in my neighbors yard, secretly. So join the hd (heart) hb campaign and help revive the bees.
I can't believe I ate Jimmy's pack of seeds. Tasted like dry tea, if that makes any sense. Plus a shout out to unibrow man at the Rosetta Stone booth.

Question of the day: What is stacked behind the pack of seeds on the left side?

Today

!!!!!! SCROLL DOWN A LITTLE TO SATURDAY MAY 10 PROM NIGHT AND START READING THERE!!!!!
Still a little lagged from the previous days but ready to get back to school. Socratic Seminar today for Psychology. Was pretty tired and didn't do any research over the weekend. Turned out to be ok. Then went with Jimmy and his sister Lorna to Claire's to get his ear pierced.

We also walked into this new place that opened about two weeks ago:They sold Metallic Jordan Is, those black and chrome Jordan IIs, the blue XIIs, Samoa and other cool stuff. The guy seemed real nice and said that they take care of their regulars. I guess I have some bonding to do...
Whew, done. I can go to sleep now.

Sunday, May 11, 2008 AKA Mother's Day

Zzzzzzzzzzzz............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.................Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Just got back home this morning at 5 so let's get back to the medium sized pictures. No MS Paint holiday drawing today, way too tired. Just got my stuff out of the car, walked into the house, dumped my body onto my bed and fell asleep. All that with my mom yelling at me about how late I came home. Or how early... hmmm. Scratch your heads about that one.
Well, yea. After about three hours of sleep, I took a shower and went to church. So tired. Sammy's prom was also yesterday so he didn't show up and it was just me and the middle schoolers at choir. O yea, Chris wasn't there too. Then went home and slept some more.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Woke up at around 4 to return my tux and went to sleep for the rest of the day with a little dinner in between.
Two down, one more post to go!

Saturday, May 10, 2008 aka Prom Night

Let's get it started:
Had a pre-prom BBQ at Martin's house with real good watermelons. Played Rock Band and then left to go to Lawrence's house to get ready for the "big red carpet" event. Then we all met at Michelle's house and got on up and left. Drove Jacky, Precious, Tony, and Michelin (I'm sorry Tony, I don't know how to spell her name). AKA the Mandarin Villa ride. We got lost on our way there and back but we just drove around and found our way. Here are some of my favorite couples in the whole world:
Martin & MichelleJimmy & AnastasiaTony & His Date
Yea, I am definitely not a picture taker. Brought my camera and took like ten pictures. I'm not in any of them. I guess after watching Shutter, I don't want to end up with a ghost on my back for the rest of my life. Andrew in the last picture looked like he was going to kill me though. Went to In-n-Out and Serra Bowl after. Who knew so many people were at Serra Bowl at 2 AM. 45 minute wait! Tony also won our table's centerpiece but it fell apart in my trunk and I get to keep the star:Yea! Table 8 (Denzel Washington) = best table
Prom recap: the place wasn't that cool. The chandeliers on the ceiling were about to fall because the speakers were so darn loud. I thought Winterball had a waaaayyyy better location with the glass elevator and the three or four stories and little desserts laying around on random tables. It was kinda slow at dinner, just me singing along to some of the songs and embarrassing our table. Then waited in a freakin long line to take a picture. Danced to a couple songs, started a train, was not a total success. Then the slow jams started and just sat around. Then got on the dance floor for a couple more hits/met wit peeps and sat around again. It was cool I guess. I think Glow in the Dark was better. They are two totally different events. Not relevant to each other in any way.
I think I spelled some peoples' names wrong, my bad.

B-Day

I turned 18 today! Now I have access to cigarettes and am able to redeem scratchers. So after hearing about Red Robbin so much after coming back from fellowship and stuff, my parents decided to take me there today for my birthday. Then I went to what seemed like a normal KC day until the end. Lori and her slaves made it believable that I was participating in a game where some of us were blindfolded. They only blindfolded me and took me outside and caked me! That is an exclamation with anger. Then since I was 18 and off provisional for my license, I had to drive Bonny and Tiffany home. Bonny's house was real easy to find, but Tiffany's house is in some weird area in the city. I had a hard time finding my way out of that area. After a couple tries though, I found my way to Junipera Serra and went home.
Here are some people I share my birthday with
1. Brandon Webb - real good pitcher, has an 8-0 record right now
2. Ghostface Killah - critically acclaimed rapper and a member of the Wu Tang Clan4. John Brown - practiced armed insurrection to abolish slavery in the 19th century
5. Jake Long - No, not the American Dragon. The first overall draft in the 2008 NFL draft6. Mr. Morosi - Our beloved principal in Westmoor High School who is sadly retiring after this year
(No Picture)

Sigh, tomorrow is prom and I guess I'm going solo. I got my tux and it turned out to be ok I guess. No worries though, I'll find a girl there that needs a date or somebody that already has a one... because I can

Daydreamin'

Went to Men's Wearhouse with Ryan and Yvonne today to get measured up for my prom tux. I had to pay the rush fee of 20 dollars. They need at least seven days to get everything ready and I just missed the deadline by one day, but I signed up for some special promotion thing that canceled that out. So I brought Ryan and Yvonne with me for some tux feedback but all they did was make fun of me the whole time and they weren't really any help. I ended up just trying to hurry through the whole process and now I'm picturing what I ordered in my head and I don't really like it at all. The vest thing is like a burgundy fish. Thanks guys, they don't read my blog anyways. Also, another dilemma, it's less than a week to prom and I am still dateless. Can you believe it? Me!? The good looking, smart guy with a great athletic build who possesses the reflexes of a cat without a date for the prom!? This is an outrage. There is still hope I hope. I'll probably just end up stealing a girl at prom. I should have figured this whole thing out earlier. Now I have to pay the rush fee for my tuxedo and every girl I know is taken or decided not to go.
Here is something that will calm me down:

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!
...
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:4,6

Anxious - hating my tux, no prom date :(
Request to God - tux being passable, prom date that I don't have to steal :)

I also need a banner for my blog. If I knew how to do the HTML stuff, this blog would look so much cooler. Maybe I'll find a "how to" online. The pictures are of the Daydreamin video off youtube. Choice one?Or choice two?The recent phone commercials reminded me of how much I love this song.

Breakin Dishes

It has almost been a week since my last post! Well today, I went to take my english placement test at San Jose State. It was real long. When I came home, I got my free razor for my 18th birthday! Finally, I am a MAN!Yea, my birthday is about a week from now (May 9th). Cool. Man, Gillette is on it.

Then went to Serra Bowl and didn't bowl. Me and Jimmy decided to stuff the holes in the pool table with newspaper so the balls wouldn't go down and we can keep playing. We didn't get enough newspaper so there was like one unguarded hole and we lost a couple balls in there. After we got bored, we decided to leave the balls for the next person to play for free. Would you sit on this seat?I think some kid threw up on it or something.
I can't believe I let Lawrence borrow my car to drive Julius and Jacky to In n Out to get us food. I was still at Serra Bowl with Jimmy, Tony and Mon watching the Spurs/Hornets game. While the In n Out crew was at In n Out, they called me and told me Lawrence got pulled over and that they were stuck until I got over there to clear things up. So I grab Jimmy to walk to In n Out. Turned out to be a prank. While me and Jimmy were walking though, we came up with a comeback prank. So when Lawrence called me back and told me to come back because it was all a joke, I told him that I already called my dad and that he was on his way and he was hecka mad. So then when we got back I pretended to be real mad. Then I pretend to get a phone call from my dad and I give the phone to Lawrence like my dad wants to talk to him. But it is really Jimmy and Got Em! Then to comeback to my comeback joke, Lawrence and Jacky attempted to throw their shakes at my car drive by style but instead, Lawrence spilled his shake all over the interior of his car.
