200th Post

So, yea, Workout Plan is not really a song. Sorry Frances.
And Chris, New Workout Plan is not the correct answer.
Now, a bunch of you are going to google it and get the right song this time so the answer is Breathe In Breathe Out.
Who listens to skits anyways.

Here is how the weekend went down:

1. Saturday:
The usual, basketball then fellowship.
Then after fellowship activities: Red Robbin with Chris and Sammy and we just happen to sit on the table next to Kevin and Viv. Then we went to go see Baby Mama at the new Century at Tanforan. Baby Mama averaged a B- by critics and audiences on Yahoo. Chris wanted to see Harold and Kumar but we didn't and we sat next to these little girls that were annoying Chris during the movie. Tapioca Express after.

2. Sunday:
Worship and then basketball in a gym! Cool, finally. Helped do the books on a league game they had after practice. I might have given the team I was in charge of one or two extra points by accident, but nobody noticed and they lost anyways.

Best Week Ever. kind of

One week after spring break... I'm back to my normal schedule. No more late start days because there are no more star tests to take and my first day back to KC in like three weeks. I like to think of the days I had no school. Hmmm... what did I do over spring break?

Friday 4/11 - Saw Prom Night

Saturday 4/12 - this is the advertisement in the elevator at the banquet:Sunday 4/13 - lagged from the wedding of the millennium

Monday 4/14 - Do you ever look at the special features on your DVDs? That is what I did that day.

Tuesday 4/15 - Continued to take a virtual tour of Smallville, explore more secrets of the Lost island, spent the afternoon with Kenneth the page, learn about the tattoos on Michael Scofield's body and other special features

Wednesday 4/16 - Lake Tahoe most of the dayThen arrived at Reno that night

Thursday 4/17 - Spent the whole day at dead Reno watching performances at Circus Circus including these crazy "Precision Bikers" from China. Friday 4/18 - Got back home tonight.

Saturday 4/19 - Kanye West Glow In The Dark Tour
The little books we got had bar codes, I wonder how much they are worth? My prediction: $FREE.99. <--WHAT KANYE SONG IS THAT FROM. WINNER GETS A COOL PRIZE. Another game to draw more readers...
Lupe Fiasco coming onto the stage. taken with my sony ericsson phone:Sunday 4/20 - Coming back from the concert in the morning going to Nation's, the car broke down. Reminded me of times on E street and Sammy's car. Towed the car to a mechanic and made it in time for church to not leave Sammy hangin on stage.

Pretty eventful weekend. I wish I had another.

yo you your

Tonight was one of those nights me and my family go out to dinner for no reason besides my mom didn't cook. We went to San Tung and had to wait for a long time as always. It was like waiting for Kanye West. But like Kanye, the wait is always worth it. Once those fried chicken wings got to my table, they reminded me of the day they gave me a new, more fulfilled life so long ago (dramatization). But the last time I went to Banana Island at Westlake, we ordered their spicy fried chicken and it is basically the same thing. And also, the last time I went to that Korean market near Century and Ihop, they also sold the same thing. They sold a package of like 15 for $3.99 or something cheap like that. But of course, both of those are no match for the San Tung ones.

Our favorite Thursday T.V. shows are back! I'm so excited. My favorite night on television.
8pm-9pm - Smallville, I missed it today for some San Tung fried chicken
9pm-9:30pm - The Office, also missed this
9:30pm-10pm - 30 Rock
(9-10 - Grey's Anatomy during the commercials)
10pm-11pm - Lost
Also, the NBA Playoffs are also taking time out of the lineup... so much T.V for only two eyes.

Look out for me wearing my Kanye GitDT shirt tomorrow!

US PLACERS x3

Oh man, was that Kanye concert awesome or what!? Because it was so great, this post will have LARGE pictures instead of medium pictures. Got there pretty early and as I am waiting in line, this lady with a big microphone was telling everybody that cameras were not allowed. Lies. Cameras were allowed, you just can't take pictures. But she told us to put our cameras back to our cars. So as I am going back to the street to where I parked, like 10 people asked me if cameras were allowed and I said, "No they are not" That lady made me spread the wrong message. Karma might get me back later tonight. So I took my last picture with the camera before putting it away.Hmmm, about an hour in line, we get to go in! We go through the metal detectors with no problem and get our cool little books:And we see a big bunched up/unorganized line in front of the merchandise booth. Here is a question: What 5 things can you buy with forty dollars?
1. lunch for about a week
2. half the Harry Potter series
3. 2 years subscription to ESPN the Magazine
4. 40 songs on Itunes
5. THIS SHIRTThat's right 40 big ones, but I love it. Picture taken with flash. Now on to the concert.
Check Chris's blog for a little more description on the concert.
First up, Lupe Fiasco
Lupe was a very good opening act. Half my section was not there yet and I was like the only one standing and singing along in my section. y'all weak section 110. Stack that cheese! I liked it. By the time Lupe was finished, I lost my voice.
Next, N.E.R.D.
Ok ok, so they are performing their first song and then this guy comes up to me and we have the same seat! Section 110 Row 23 Seat 13, Karma you bizznatch. He looked like he was going to beat me up but he turned out to be a real nice guy. So we tell the security lady who directs us to the head guy who directs us to the ticket center lady. Turned out that since my ticket was from ticket master, when they were printed out, they canceled the real ticket. So the tickets his friend gave him were put on sale and bought. He didn't know. I was fighting for him but there was nothing I could do but go back to my seat and enjoy the concert. Felt kinda bad for him. So I missed the whole performance, but they were hecka loud and I heard it was rockin.
Third, Rihanna
Pretty good I guess, I sat down the most in her performance, but also sang along. Got up for ya know... Don't Stop the Music, S.O.S, and Umbrella... ella ella. After this long break from the ticket misunderstanding and the spared singing, my throat was well rested for the next performance.
Finally, Mr. West took the stage
After about a half hour intermission we all got back on our feet. The performance was hot. My throat was dead by the end of the night. I think I yelled the most at Good Life. There isn't enough I can say about the performance but I don't want to ruin it for y'all that didn't see it this time but are going in June.
Now for pictures. Take a look at Sammy's blog for pics since he took his camera in and all I had was my camera phone. Unless you want to see pictures like this Mediocre seats + mediocre camera = mediocre pictures

v.s.

Sammy's pics like this one:Good seats + good camera = good pictures
These two pictures were taken during the same song too. You decide.

After concert. Driving back, we decide to go to Nation's for some late dinner. I am turning from John Daly blvd and all of a sudden, my car's engine shuts off and gives me just enough momentum to finish the turn. I had Jimmy and Tony push my car closer to the curb. Luckily, it is like 1:30 in the morning and right in front of Nation's so I call my dad and we leave the car to go in and grab some burgers to eat. Just found out today that the engine is completely broken and we need to replace it. Karma struck not once but TWICE!!! Slept for like 3 hours and later that morning, took the car to a mechanic, but mechanics don't work on Sundays so made it in time for church and ministry of music.

O yea, Baron Davis was there. And also, my audience queues in the previous post were kinda right. But at the same time, not really.

Us Placers x2

Thank you Flores Online for the nice comment. I guess I am pretty popular in the random comment bot list. It helps boost my self esteem to see that "1 comment" under my post. Is Google analytics even working? It has been the same since the week I signed up. O well.
To more important matters, I scored some tickets to the Glow in the Dark tour a while back and was thinking about audience participation in concerts. So I came up with a list of possible audience queues during the concert. I don't know Rihanna and N.E.R.D songs well enough so it is just for the Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco part of the concert.

Kanye West
1. Hey Mama - There is a line where he says "When I say Hey, y'all say Mama" hmmm... maybe
2. Gold Digger - Kanye: If you ain't no punk holla we want pre nup
3. Good Life - do the T Pain parts
4. Stronger/Drunk and Hot Girls - the chorus maybe?
Audience: we want Pre Nup! Yeah!
Lupe Fiasco
1. Paris, Tokyo - "So let's keep it real, all in together FREE CHILL!"
2. Kick Push - He might say Kick and we say Push, maybe?
3. Dumb It Down - He might make us yell "Dumb It Down" a lot
4. Hip Hop Saved My Life - STACK THAT CHEESE!

It's not that many actually, or maybe I don't know Kanye and Lupe that well. That is all I can really think of and they probably won't do any of them. But if you have more, help contribute to the Help Vince Prepare for the Glow in the Dark Tour (HVPGDT) Foundation by posting it in the comment section. Plus it gives me more self esteem.
I guess all I can do now at the concert is wave my hands, bob my head, and say the last word in every line because that is all I seem to know plus a couple one liners.

Us Placers

Whew! Just came back from Lake Tahoe/Reno. I seriously did not find out about this trip until the morning of... nobody tells me anything anymore, not even my family. What happened to the major secret bearer I once was, that I imagined. He never existed. Quite sad. But Lake Tahoe was pretty cool. Only drove by stopping at certain spots to take pictures and stuff. Can't wait to go back for senior trip with my fellowship. Then after about 5+ hours in the car with my Ipod ear buds jammed into my ears, we finally arrived at our hotel in Reno. Reno has slipped over the past years. Las Vegas use to be 10x as great as Reno, but now Vegas is 100x better. Maybe its just the time of year. Well, I did what I usually do at Reno. Since there isn't much of a strip to walk down like in Vegas, I just spent my nights at Circus Circus reminding myself how bad I was at those carny games. I lost to little kids at that camel racing game. The one with the ball and you roll it into those holes, yea those are so fun, when you win. I also kinda enjoyed their "world class" circus acts every 20 minutes. Some are ok, but they are no match for the acts by the Imperial Acrobats from China. They kill it every time. Jumping around, foot juggling, bicycle tricks. Truly the pride of China. I was supprised to not see any Free Tibet protesters there. Here were those crazy bicycle girls:They seemed to be the crowd favorite. They jump on top of each other and switch bikes and stuff. They rode what seemed to be fixed bikes! Tony, we still have to make our prototype and then buy our own parts and make them. One day... and we'll start our own circus act.
O yea, spent 8 bucks to win this thing:
Lakers Exercise ball. 3 dollars to make? 4? I just saw it and I knew it was destiny for me to have it. Lakers all the way!
Save the cheerleader... save the world.

Sago

Fun fun day on Saturday. It was also freakin hot! First, basketball practice in the hot morning. So, so hot. I can't emphasize the hotness of the day enough.
Then, the main event of the day: Norm and Cindy's wedding where we ushered.
I didn't bring my camera (do I ever), so no camera = no pictures
But... Nevin brought his camera, always ready for these things. Nevin should have a blog of his own. So this picture is stolen from Nevin's facebook album thing
class of 08So after the wedding ceremony, we had the banquet at the Empress of China. Yea yea! There was an appearance by the Jabbawockeez. Like the B-grade version. None the less, the banquet was where the partay was at. Did the traditional maids of honor/best man speech thing, table toasting, clinging and clanging of the chopsticks on the plate thing. There was a dance after dinner. Everybody on the dance floor! Jeff, Judy and Erik man, killing it on the dance floor. Crank Dat was on like repeat. There was this one funny dude. Kinda reminded me of Kevin James in this clip from Hitch

I guess the video doesn't work but I'll leave it there so it doesn't make this post look as boring as it is.
Did I mention that it was hot?

051008

Saw Prom Night yesterday. Weak but scary. Had the usual screaming/talking to the screen crowd. Kinda annoying but I guess it is better than watching it with a quiet crowd. There was a preview for a freaky movie about some radioactive crazy lady that lives alone in her apartment. It was kinda like Cloverfield. It could be Cloverfield 2 but the big isopod turned into a crazy lady. I forget the name.
Then Ryan and Pauline come to my house at like 12 in the morning...
At last! Spring break is here. And Cindy and Norman's wedding is tomorrow!

Vince/Horseman Gives Back

Since I missed American Idol on Wednesday, I watched some parts of it on Youtube including that weird Hannah Montana performance. I guess she isn't referred to as Hannah Montana outside of Disney. I'm sorry Miley Cyrus. "In her the dark side I sense" as Yoda would probably say...
But I decided to stop watching the low quality videos on Youtube so I downloaded the not as low quality video from Itunes. I figured that at least if I buy the videos from Itunes, my $1.99 would go to charity. I'm glad to have helped little Shantay find her long lost sister and provide lunch for young Baduday and his friends in Uganda. I'm a pretty nice guy, so you want to go to prom with me? Ok, scratch that. I made those names up. Here is what I downloaded legally.
Don't Stop the Music - American Idol x So You Think You Can Dance collaboration performance
the opener of the night
Shout to the Lord - the final performance of the nightSo do they memorize the words, I guess they don't have to if they can see really small words.
unless they are not lyrics and I am totally wrong.
Downloaded this a while ago for free! Can't get enough of this guy. Remember him from earlier this season? No Star Testing tomorrow, so I have to get to school at 8 again... I should go to sleep

tocopheryl acetate

I missed American Idol today and on Tuesday. Good thing this week, the results show is on thursday, but I missed the Idol Gives Back show. I'll look it up on Youtube tomorrow. Speaking of tomorrow, too many shows on television. American Idol, Smallville, Lost, and the new season of The Office. Lost isn't new so I guess I can sacrifice that.
Now to describe how unlucky I am at raffles.
Last Saturday, I went to San Jose State for "Admitted Students Day" and the engineering department was raffling off a couple Ipods. I filled out like 6 tickets when everybody was allowed four. I didn't win anything.
Today at CSM, they were raffling out prizes and two scholarships. There were about twenty prizes raffled out out of like sixty people. I didn't win anything.
At least I've won one raffle in my lifetime. I was at my dad's boss's birthday and I was chosen to pick a ticket out of the basket thing and I pulled out my own ticket. I won a fruit basket. I would much rather win an Ipod. I deserve it.
Also, not a raffle but a question, what product has the ingredient that is the title?

Sav

April 4 is a holiday on my mom's chinesey calendar called tomb sweeping day. Went to the cemetery as always around this time. Oh that seagull infested graveyard. Put the food offering down on the platform thing and turn around to light the incense and then like ten seagulls start to fight for a shu mai and a bao. Also spent the majority of the time with ash in my face. It was windy. Bits and pieces of thousand dollar hell bank notes were blowing into my little eyes. It is always windy or raining on these days.
Then went to get a haircut. I haven't gotten a hair cut this short in years.

M.A.S.H daly city

Ok, to y'all haters, I passed the level 35 mark on that free tower defense game. You got burnt! Saw Jerome's fixed bicycle today after school. I was supposed to go to Tony's house over winter break and make one, but never did. I really want one though so I can get more scars on my legs and arms and maybe some stitches on my abdomen. Sweet. Look at that bike, so clean. No gears or brakes or useless wires and what not. It's so free like a bird on a clear spring day. Or me naked on a grass field... Spring break Tony, I'm coming over to make one. Here is our diagram to follow:

you got burnt!

Can't stop playing this Warcraft tower defense game. The farthest I got was level 25 with like 860 points. I suck, or do I? http://novelconcepts.co.uk/FlashElementTD
I'm sooo tired, but I can't stop playing.
Sorry, no updates, no real pictures, no witty/snide remarks.
