And

Soooo tired coming back from a full day of practice for the upcoming musical "surrender". And word on the street is that tickets for Saturday night on the 13th are almost gone. So yea, if you missed my rap last time we had a thing like this at church... better hurry and git some fo yo soul. But both practice and my fantasy football draft was going on simultaneously. So I missed my draft and the CPU drafted for me... here is my team for fantasy football 08:I am sick of my one year losing streak! I need to win again. How do I win if didn't get to pick my own team? the computer just chooses the top ranked player after every round. And every fantasy sports veteran knows that the projected rankings are almost never accurate. But every fantasy sports veteran also knows that its not the players you start out with that bring you the championship but the people you add later on.

Thank You

College football is here and in San Jose State's season opener against UC Davis, the Spartans come out victorious 13-10! Yup, wish I could've been there. Next game is against the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Nebraska. Hmmm... who do you think would win, the Spartans or some cornhuskers. 300 spartans defeated over millions of fierce tribes across all of Persia. A couple Nebraskan corn farmers should be nothing.

But yea, its been a week of college and I've been putting chili and nacho cheese on everything I eat everyday for lunch and dinner. Classes aren't too rigorous yet but I'm sure after the add/drop deadline, things will pick up fast and I'll be failing assignments left and right. But hopefully until then, I can keep my head up. The weather is hot in San Jose compared to Daly City. It is like moving from a fridge to an oven. But now that I am back home, I don't really miss anything at home except my queen size bed and the bathroom. For some reason, I never feel safe being barefoot in the shower in the dorms and I always have to cover the toilet seat everytime I sit. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Now that I'm in college, fellowship is on Friday nights now instead of Saturday afternoons. So I have nothing to do on Saturday now! What did I do today. Oh, today was the first time ever I've been on the roof of my house. I had to help my dad check something on the roof so there you go. Pictures from my roof:Tomorrow is a full day of musical practice and my fantasy football draft day... computer better not screw me over

Check It

The Spartan Daily from yesterday. I leave the campus tomorrow to come back home. But that means I'll miss all the activities that the building I live in has like making disco balls. I have to start packing my homework and stuff for tomorrow but my first priority of course is to blog. So as I decide what to pack while I type, I am a bit concerned as of late about leaving my possessions here unattended. Kris (my roomie) brought some friends over and I'm not too sure about some of them. They eat too many cheez its and drink too many arizonas among other things. I don't think he reads my blog and I intend to keep this little part of my life a secret from him. Everything should be fine though. Right? I am also excited to see how my mom has configured my room at home.

the bo$$

It was so hot today. Probably close to the 90s! Scorching... sweating just walking. Got my library card today and we get an actual card and a small keychain card. I already lost the keychain one... How will I survive in college? I don't know. Tried looking for the post office today but it was too hot so me and alien just stop at La Vic's and we got the t shirt for 5 dollars. But they only have medium or small sizes. I tried it on, it fits pretty good actually. I might get all shirts in medium now. hmmm
Then Leslie my best friend called me just now and mentioned the speed typing test. And you may recall in Chris's blog that he got 108 wpm. So I decided to try it and I am now addicted to it. I just took a quick break to blog real quick. So far, my best is just 90 wpm but I think I've discovered the secret. Just keep doing it until you get a set of easy words. Yup, I'm going to test my typing speed now.

Day 2

My second full day of the college life and today is much longer than my first. First of all, I start later than yesterday and I have three classes today instead of two. Good thing only tuesdays have three classes. The 6 - 7:50 class is killer. Sci 2 can suck it hard. Yesterday I only ate dinner, but today, I ate lunch and dinner. I should wake up earlier to eat breakfast. Then after dinner, I spent hours trying to open my stupid mail box. I finally get the contraption open and I get my sticker for free bus rides until february.Don't mind the horrible picture. Yup, see that sticker, I just flash that baby and I get on and ride as long and as many time as i want. Can't wait until Chris moves into santa cruz so I can bus down there.

"Barack Obama is my candidate. And he must be our president."
- Hillary Clinton

Took some time to read Ms. Hill -ary's speech today. Well, only a couple paragraphs because it was really long. Just by typing that line, I realized my politics IQ is not very good because I spelled 'barack" with two r's and 'hillary' with one l. But I will def still vote.

Good Life

Just got out of school and in my dorm now blogging of course! Eating my room mate's cheez its and drinking his arizona. Yea, my room mate is a really nice guy. I'm just glad that I got a room mate like him and not like some of the other people on our floor... like the pot heads next door. I could not live under those conditions. But yea, the college life so far is great! I'm glad I came here instead of CSM even though I don't have a car. Living on campus is good. Well, here are the times I am at school:
Monday - 10:30 - 1:20
Tuesday - 12:00 - 1:15, 3:00 - 4:15, 6:00 - 7:50
Wednesday - same as monday
Thursday - 12:00 - 1:15, 3:00 - 4:15
Friday - nothing!
so whenever any of you guys are at san jo... you know when the party times are. It is also really hot!

Surrender

I just moved into my dorm yesterday and now I'm back home. Here is what went down:
-Me, Erik, Chris and my parents go down to sjsu to help me move my stuff and get settled in
-Peter, Rachel and Lucy swing by and all of us rearrange my room (moving desks and what not)
-Parents leave after about an hour or two and me, erik and chris eat at La Vic's
-Skip the "block party" and go hang out with Erik's friend whose brother btw looks like Jeriel Ong
-We go back to the dorms and Chris and Erik leave and I am lonely so I go to Peter's apartment to hang out with him, lucy and rachel more
-web chatted and watched japanese soap opera: Love Generation... major drama forreal
-slept at like 4 am and woke up at like 12:30 the next day
Picture time:
better than Uhaul-
Here is how I left my half of the room after leaving until Sunday nightToday was a full day of musical practice. From 1-9pm. But we woke up at 12:30 and the drive from sj to sf is a lot more than 30 minutes so I was late.

Break the Mold

Got my books today... It still hasn't settled in that I'm moving away today. I guess because I'm not moving that far and I'm gonna try to come back home every week for worship and fellowship. But yea, here are my books. All 300 dollars worth of them:I got started on my essay too. Then I finished it. And printed it. I still don't feel like I'm in college yet. Maybe after that first day... being confused in class and getting a whole bunch of work piled on top of me. Then going back to my dorm. Hmmm life of a college student.
Changing directions now this half of the post...
The dangers of Web chatting:
Doesn't he seem like the type that would be on To Catch A Predator? Yup yup. Scary Scary. I can't type with this picture on the same page, I have to skip a couple more lines.

There you go. Anyways, I'm pretty sure you all know how dominant the states has been in swimming but they are not as good on land. Did anybody see the 4x100m relay today? or yesterday... both the men and women dropped the baton and got disqualified.
But you know who tore it up?
Super Crew is more real!

G5 G5

Hey hey fans! Went to Discovery Kingdom aka Marine World for the OGs in the theme park game. I was the only one with a camera, so that translates to the only one with pictures so I felt obligated to make a facebook album. I'm still new to facebook and stuff so I tried to upload all the pictures at once but it would not allow for some reason so I did it all 5 pictures at a time... noobness.
First picture of the day: the master himselfFound Erik's relatives, the lions:family meal:but the bucket started leaking and we got 3 souvenir cups instead with free refills for the rest of the day! also ate funnel cakes and deep fried oreos.
Then we picked up a couple more people and went to dinner for Caroline's farewell:
We tried to watch pineapple express after but it was full so we went to Tropic Thunder. Pretty funny movie. My face was like this most of the movie:It would have worked so much better with pineapple express. But yea, thanks to Cindy for the post card from comic con.
the socal sendaways:Yea, won't be seeing her for a while, Erik, you're next on the list
A perk you readers get that the facebook people don't get are special EXCLUSIVE videos. Like this one:

So I pretended to take a picture of Chris and Caroline but secretly recorded the dude in the back. hehe sneaky sneaky. I also tried recording Roar but I pressed the button on accident in the middle of the ride.

That poster was submitted by a fan by the way so it is not official like my voter status.
I'm going to sleep early tonight to wake up early in the morn to finally see some redeem team action. USA basketball ftw for real. so real.

I just had to

Saw this, had to post:And mastersamuel.blogspot.com introduced me to photofunia so good thing I forgot to delete this picture. Christopher is so awkward.
Identical? Yes.

Just came back from the airport and missed half of ABDC. And I'm missing the rest of it for the Olympics. Forgive me Mario Lopez.

What better way to get your company's name out there than business cards? They're easy to pass around and carry, they are affordable, and you have a valid reason to say "Here's my card." So when you plan to own your own company someday or already have one and you're ready to design business cards, you should check a couple of these out as a benchmark.

Shawty is a 10

Just came back from our fellowship potluck. Basically, here is what went down:
-Watched Mulan, and one of us liked it a lot more than the rest of us
-Ate food, I brought the two gallons of Arizona
-Played Mafia, I suck at that game

Added Edward Lee to the blog family on the link area on the side.

WTH!?!?!?!?!?

I hate it already. I have to buy a new book and read more on top of the summer reading requirement. And finish a two page essay by the first day of school."We expect no less from you than students at Stanford, UC Berkeley or UC Santa Cruz so in preparation for being ready to work! Read below."

Ok ok, there is a reason why we are at San Jose State and not at Stanford or Cal or even a banana slug... it's not because we are of the same calibur of UC students but because we aren't. You can't expect swimmers from Germany to do what swimmers from the US can do in the olympics right? Well anyways, here it goes, college begins now! And where it says I have 2 weeks to complete the assignment, I don't.

I'm Taken

So... Camp 2008. Definitely the most memorable of all camps ever. Highlights?
- we were the biggest class
- our camp speaker Christian
- helicopter landing on the camp site
- Christian getting a concussion
- ropes course
- J. to the Christ
- blackout
- I brought my camera and used it

That is just some of the highlights. But yea, I had my camera in hand and here are some pictures.

Cabin 13 till I die! Cleanest cabin, what what! The view from the ropes course. Look at those ants. No wait, they are people. The band and andrew's head in action during singspiration Class pictures: yea, sorry, neither of these are mine so thanks to the facebook these two pics belong to
w/ leadersw/o leaders
That is camp in a nutshell. Who says that? Anyways, this post could be a lot longer explaining every detail of the week and putting up every picture that was taken, but like all camps, you just gotta be there.

Ray Fong

Real quick:
just read this on yahoo. The Spanish basketball team took a picture with all the members slanting their eyes. (like asian people)

Take Me To The Cross

My last cornerstone HS camp is tomorrow... But anyways, I love camp. It is fun, peaceful and always a great time to get away from city life. I also get to wear all my bible contest and previous camp t shirts because I don't usually wear them anywhere else but occasional fellowships. But yea, I just finished packing. We plan to use those walkie talkies we bought from Target. Hmmmm..... 15 senior guys and 4 radios. so like 4 groups of 4 at all times. I'm ready to leave tomorrow!

Gangsta Gangsta, That's Already Evident

Forgot to mention in my previous post that while I was looking for all the Marvel characters, I found this one called Fat Cobra.Gangsta is evident indeed.
In fact, it is evident in these other guys:The picture above might actually be my new wallpaper.

Fantastic 4our

Went to the airport this morning because my relatives are finally going back to burma. Did I say finally, that is kinda mean. But yea, my house is much quieter and my room less populated.

Marvel has made some pretty darn good movies so far. X-Men, Spiderman, Hulk, Iron Man and others. Oh yea, the upcoming Wolverine movie will also be a hit. So I'm trying on jackets in my closet to see which ones fit and which ones don't and I found my very cool Marvel hoody. It is like painted on or something, I don't know. I bought it around sophomore/junior year, I forget. I remember wearing it like once or twice only because then I started seeing all these people with marvel t shirts and stuff. But yea, I'll start wearing it again. I tried looking up all of the characters today on the Marvel website but they have literally hundreds of heroes so I quit.

Ivan Ochoa is my hero of the day.
